We Buy Estates

Experienced, Respectful Estate Buying
Over the years, Sunset Jewelry & Loan has helped many customers find the items of value in an estate and sell them for a fair price. Whether you're handling a loved one's belongings, downsizing, or simply have a collection you're ready to part with, we'll take the time to look over your pieces carefully and explain what we find.

Estate Buying Questions
Do you come to the house?
In most cases, no. We ask customers to bring their items to our store on Hercules Avenue, where we can look everything over properly. If you believe you have items of real value and have no way to bring them to us, give us a call at (727) 448-0499. In special circumstances, we may be able to schedule an appointment.
What if I don't know what something is?
That's normal with an estate. Show it to us and we'll tell you what it is and what it's worth. For unusual pieces we sometimes consult outside experts. Please don't clean coins before we see them; cleaning can lower their value.
Do you buy the whole estate or just pieces?
We buy the pieces of value, not the entire estate. Most estates hold a mix of things, and much of it has more sentimental value than resale value. We focus on jewelry, coins, watches, gold and silver, and select collectibles. Call us first and we'll help you figure out which pieces to bring in. You decide what to sell.
