Privacy Policy

The Short Version

This website doesn't ask you to sign up, fill out a form or pay for anything, so we don't collect your name, email address or payment details through it. We use two analytics tools to see how many people visit and which pages are useful, and some pages show content from Google, YouTube and eBay. We don't sell your information.

Information We Collect

When you visit sunsetpawn.com, our analytics tools record general information about your visit, such as:

• the pages you view and how long you stay
• the website or search that brought you here
• your type of device and browser, and your approximate location (city or region, based on your internet address)
• when you tap a phone number, the Directions button, a link to one of our eBay stores or our Google review link

We use this only to understand how the site is used and to improve it. It isn't used to identify you personally.

Analytics Tools

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, which places cookies (small files stored by your browser) to tell new visitors from returning ones. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser's settings.

Ahrefs Web Analytics

We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count visits. According to Ahrefs, it's designed to measure traffic without cookies. See the Ahrefs privacy policy for details.

Content From Other Companies

• Google Maps: the maps on our home and Contact pages are provided by Google, which may collect information when the map loads.
• YouTube: the videos on our Media page use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and only load from YouTube when you press play.
• eBay: the photos of items for sale load from eBay's servers.
• Google reviews: the reviews shown on our site are copied to our own server, so viewing them doesn't connect you to Google.

Links to eBay, Facebook, Instagram and Google take you to sites with their own privacy policies, which we don't control.

How We Use and Share Information

We use website information to keep the site working well and to understand what our customers are looking for. We don't sell, rent or trade it. Beyond the service providers named above, we only share information if the law requires it.

In-Store Loans and Purchases

This policy covers our website. When you pawn or sell an item in our store, Florida law requires us to record certain information about the transaction, including your identification, and those records may be shared with law enforcement as the law requires. If you have questions about this, please ask us in the store or call us.

Children

This website is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we change how the website handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
